

Forest and Wood Products Australia provides up to three scholarships per annum for postgraduate research study (Masters and PhD degrees).
The Denis Cullity Research Fellowship is awarded on an annual basis to allow an Australian forest or forest products scientist to undertake or participate in research and development, in a country outside Australia, which has the potential to benefit the Australian forest and wood products industry.Forest and Wood Products Australia invites the submission of applications for the prestigious Denis Cullity fellowship for projects of three to six month’s duration at an international research facility for Australian scientists to gain access to cutting edge international research and technology as outlined in the documents below. FWPA scholarships are awarded for research contributing to nominated priority areas of interest to Australian forest based industries. The scholarships are awarded for a maximum of three years. The current call for Postgraduate Scholarships has closed.

The Russell Grimwade Prize (RGP) is supported from a trust fund created by Mr (later Sir) Wilfrid Russell Grimwade in 1929 and administered by the then Commonwealth Forestry and Timber Bureau. The RGP is available to graduates of any recognised Australian forestry school who have subsequently worked for at least two years in a forestry or forest management related field in Australia.
