New consumer advertising campaign launches June 2016
FWPA’s successful partnership with Planet Ark and Peter Maddison (Grand Design Australia Host and award winning architect) will deliver a new advertising program to promote the benefits of sustainably sourced wood. The campaign, launching mid-June, comprising of a mix of 15 second video spots and electronic banner advertisements, the primary brand being Planet Ark’s Make it Wood followed by Wood. Naturally Better. These materials are also available to FWPA’s members and associate members to use in their corporate communications and to feature on their websites.
The key campaign messages are the benefits of wood, as identified by the FWPA consumer research.
Media channels will include; selected free to air, catch-up and pay television, housing-related websites and more online options.
The four 15 second videos address 4 topics, with two more under development. The topics addressed so far are:
- Indoor use of wood and wood products
- Outdoor use of wood and wood products
- Furniture made from wood and wood products
- Packaging made from wood
The two topics under development are:
- Wood mass as biofuel
- Wooden frames and trusses
These materials are also available to FWPA’s members and associate members to use in their corporate communications and to feature on their websites.
