WoodSolutions Fire Precaution During the Construction of Large Buildings Guide

Fire is perceived as one of the risks of building with wood, and while fire systems are well understood for completed buildings, those for buildings under construction are less well known. This guide was created to provide information to help the broad range of people and organisations with responsibilities for fire safety on a construction site to reduce the risk from fire.

The WoodSolutions Bushfire Calculator V1.0 is an online (to facilitate updating) design tool that enables building designers, builders, regulators and home owners to determine the relevant Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) for a specific building site.

TimberSolutions software update

Timber Solutions is a design software package developed initially to provide tables for AS1684, Residential timber framed construction. It is now available as a stand alone package which complements the standard.
