WoodTECH 2018 – Melbourne
Twenty years ago, FIEA started providing the first technology events for Australasian wood processing companies. Recently, two very well attended WoodTECH events have been run. Over 350 delegates from all major Australasian sawmilling companies in addition to leading technology providers from throughout Australasia, North America and Europe were involved in the 2015 and 2017 events.
The focus was on green-mill operations. In 2018, the focus instead is on dry-mill operations. WoodTECH 2018 will include; timber scanning and optimisation, timber gluing and laminating, finger-jointing, cross cutting, timber machining, kiln drying and timber finishing technologies.
